Parkinson's dad needs a weekend support. He does need a great deal of assistance getting up in the morning and getting dressed and ready for the day. His mobility is quite limited due to his stage three Parkinson's and reticulopathy due to arthritis. This caregiver would also have to be comfortable with preparing coffee and breakfast in the morning and some light prep for lunch. He doesn't eat all that much like he used to so this should be a fairly easy task. If they're able to encourage him to use his recumbent biketo get some movement in his day, that would be the best for him. We need this weekend support because my mother hasn't really been able to leave the house or do anything else but care for my dad. Watching the news, reading, having someone to talk to. He does like to go out, but he doesn't get to as much unless it's to go to PT Should be warm and sociable, easy to talk to. Should be strong because sometimes my dad needs assistance moving around and can be deadweight at times. Mainly in the event of a freezing episode. Our home does have a place to park No pets.
