About who needs care: Personal Care Aide(s): Seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide(s) to provide support to an elderly person in a retirement home. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the person.. This role is pivotal in assisting clients with daily living activities. Days and hours are flexible: Person(s) should have a valid driver's License, have some experience in caregiving and exhibit a high level of professionalism. Responsibilities: Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Wash clothes if there are any- Local laundry card will be given. Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition. Support clients in engaging in activities and social interactions to promote their independence. Previous experience in home care, retirement homes, nursing homes is a plus. However, not required. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Part-time, Contract Pay: $10. 00-$13. 00 per hour Various days, not every week of the month to start.
