About the job
Hi there! We're looking for someone to assist my dad Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. He mainly needs light support getting up and down from his chair when using the restroom. Otherwise, the role is all about being a cheerful, engaging presence, bringing him snacks or drinks, chatting with him, and helping make his day enjoyable. Some light housekeeping would be a bonus, but the main priority is companionship and making sure he's comfortable and cared for throughout the day. This is a temporary position starting Monday, April 28, 9 to 5 p.m. We're not sure how long it will last; it really depends on when he's able to move around more independently again. He's a wonderful person, and we're hoping to find someone kind, upbeat, and reliable to support him during this time.
