About who needs care: My step dad lives with my mom, he is 85 and she is 67. My step dad has pneumonia and my mom is able to care for herself but its hard for her to get him up to do the bathroom needs. It's also important that they have help with meals and getting motivated for their day. He has oxygen that he uses and he is doing better with that but he is sleeping more than usual. My mom has health issues of her own such as taking Coumadin for her heart valve. Pace maker. And MS. I am a mom first and daughter my child is 13 and we live about 15 minutes from them. I love them and I need for them to have care that I cant force myself to give all of the time. About the care needs: That will be up to my parents. If they are happy with your choice then that is good for me. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
