About the job
Am in need of a hands-on care provider for my loved one in his 40s. He has a neuromuscular disease and requires assistance with bathing, dressing & administering medication etc. He uses a wheelchair. Light housekeeping, laundry etc. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. Most of all we're looking for someone to provide good companionship. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands with him. You'd be responsible for transporting him to/from shopping, parks etc. Has his own handicap van but he no longer drives. Preference a non-smoker. We work day shifts 9am-4 p.m. & evenings 4pm-10 p.m. At this moment, I'm looking for someone to cover TWO day shifts a month 9am-4 p.m. on every other Sunday and prn evenings as needed. (4pm-10pm) when someone calls out or needs off.
