About who needs care: Sharyn has a chronic connective tissue illness known as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) with an accompanying dysautonomia (a condition where the part of her nervous system that usually runs background tasks like BP and HR and digestion has trouble staying in balance). Although she is mobile and fairly functional, these conditions make going up and down stairs frequently and meal prep and other tasks difficult and limited depending on the day. Optimally someone with some health care training who could take vitals (pulse, blood pressure) would be helpful as these are frequently monitored throughout the day by Sharyn. About the care needs: Open, approachable, non-judgmental, compassionate, easygoing. Someone who is detail-oriented. Health care background is preferred Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
