Hands-on Care Needed For My Grandfather In Sterling

About who needs care: Ray has had a recent stroke affecting his balance, and swallowing. He needs assistance with specialized meal prep of minced and moist, level MM5. He needs companionship, he is funny, with a lot of good stories. He needs assistance with a small dog, feeding them in the mornings and taking them outside in the backyard. Job would include household tasks of emptying trash and making sure area is tidy. In the mornings around 7:30 a.m. you would arrive and take the dog out of her crate take her out and feed her. Making breakfast for him, making sure he is safe getting out of bed and assisting him with a shower if necessary for that day. Would be good to shower 2x's a week. You would be sitting outside with him, or watching TV with him or playing cards or sequence with him. Then making sure he has lunch and then leaving for the day around 11:30. About the care needs: He would work well with someone who can handle a little pushback on doing things, in a nice, fun way. He has resistance to getting into the shower, but with the right personality he can get the job done. Someone who is easygoing and playful, and enjoying talking and listening to stories, and playing cards. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
