We need hands-on care for my father in Stafford. Duties include providing companionship and supervision as he sleeps most of his day in a floor lounge. Awakes to eat a small lunch or snack already prepared. This job is best suited for those looking for a quiet shift with minimal tasks. TV is always on for company & available for caregiver to view. CNA level required for changing briefs 1x - 2x each shift due to incontinence. Semi-electric bed & Hoyer lift on-site to aid in moving patient who is unable to stand or walk. Patient is bandaged with a left foot pressure wound - NO WOUND CARE needed - already being taken care of by a physician. Very limited speech due to previous strokes & his demeanor is usually shy / compliant.
