About who needs care: Currently unable to see secondary to unsuccessful eye surgery. Hope is that he will regain his vision in a month. He is Type 2 diabetic and will need help monitoring his insulin levels and injecting insulin when needed. He will also need help with meals. He has some support from a friend. I am his sister and only relative, but I live in Richmond and am taking care of my grandson, so I cant be with my brother very often. About the care needs: Someone pleasant, who can prepare simple diabetic meals, and who can give him insulin injections. He also has a dog, Harley, and will need someone to feed him twice a day. He is unable to engage in hobbies right now because of his blindness. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
