About the job
About who needs care: My mom was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Breast cancer. She does plastic canvas crafts, loves crossword puzzles, watching TV, and talking. She gets up around 6:30 - 7:00 a.m. and gets dressed, fixes breakfast and waits for me to pick her up. She normally comes over to my house (her daughter) from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. but lately she does not want to come over every day so we are looking at other avenues. About the care needs: Someone who loves to talk/listen, crafts, is gentle, and kind but won't take no mess when it comes to taking medicine or needing to get up and walk or do something other than watch TV. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
