About the job
About who needs care: Severe scoliosis causes a lot of pain so having someone a couple days a week would keep her on top of her house. Also someone to encourage her to go out and do more. She is living with terminal cancer but the at home treatment has stopped progression for now. She doesn't really leave her house and we want her out and about more. Hard to do for me with work. About the care needs: Someone who can be very positive but persuasive to doing more for herself in her house and out in the community. She is a devout Catholic and a retired nurse but doesn't really have any hobbies. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
