About who needs care: He is 7 and has several health issues, Type 2 diabetes for which he takes insulin 4 times a day and oral meds, high blood pressure (takes meds for this too). He has blood circulation issues who sees a specialist for treatment. He is a model train enthusiast and has a large layout in the basement, He loves rock and roll music and old TV shows. He's very resistant to change. He has been experiencing cognition issues but has yet to be neurologically evaluated. It would be best if he could have a male caregiver at least to begin with. As for a response to the third question I am uncertain. About the care needs: Someone with patience, moderate voice that is steady and reasonable. He can't deal with criticism and we believe he is experiencing depression based on his behavior. He is unsure of himself and his ability to do things he knows are diminished which can make him edgy, If someone had an interest in old B &W movies and old TV series that would be something he could about. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
