We are looking for a senior care provider with experience. Our main care concerns are: Bathing / Dressing and Mobility Assistance for our 81-year-old mother. Most importantly, we are looking for someone to assist Mom with the following needs. Assistance to get her up out of bed in the morning. Assistance in the bathroom, get her out of wet undergarments, help her into the shower and then assist her by washing her perineal area, genital area and buttocks thoroughly every day. Mom has kidney disease and experiences incontinence, which requires she be washed thoroughly in that area to avoid breakdown of the skin due to urine and/or feces. After shower, caregiver must apply anti-fungal ointment to perineal/private area. Assistance getting into new diaper/depends and dressed for the day. Then she is good to go.
