About who needs care: Recovering from a major stroke in October 2023. paralyzed on the right side with very minimum use of arm and leg. Has a tube for feedings in stomach and has a trachea with no speech. He can communicate with you by pointing, pictures, etc. He is alert and can help you transport himself from bed to chair. He can use toilet. About the care needs: A good, cheerful personality to help keep his spirits uplifted. Skills in trachea care, and tubal feedings or can be trained. A non smoker. Have compassion about their job and not just a paycheck. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
