About who needs care: This is for my father who has Parkinson's. My stepmother looks after him, does a great job, but I would like to 1) give her some primary caregiver relief so she can run errands and do things that make her happy and 2) as his Parkinson's progresses, we have someone be knows and is comfortable with. He boxes with a class. He plays on his computer, and watches TV. He attempts small wood working projects, and sometimes bakes bread. His ideal day is wake up, breakfast, read the newspaper, usually goes to a boxing class or hangs around the house. About the care needs: My dad loves to laugh. Positive energy and a sunny disposition is best suited for him. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
