Typical day, go for walk, listen to music, eat lunch, take meds, rest, go for second walk, watch TV/listen to music. About the care needs: Someone who likes to talk and tell stories, patient has aphasia and does not talk well. Patient has needs in all activities of daily living, so someone skilled in dementia care. Need to be able to take patient for 0. 5 mile walks a couple times a day. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
