Hands-on Care Needed For My Husband In Herndon

Need a companion/home care provider to work with my husband who was diagnosed with PPA (FTD) approx. 10 years ago. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work, possess good communication skills, and be committed to enhancing the quality of life for their clients. I am looking for someone who is compassionate, caring and has a kind demeanor. This position requires a blend of strong interpersonal skills, patience & experience with individuals who have dementia and cannot communicate (verbally, in writing or reading). This individual will integrate into daily family life. Key responsibilities: Assist w/ bathing/general hygiene needs, companionship (including games, puzzles, activities), light housekeeping; food & meal prep. Ensure safety & comfort at all times. CPR cert. reqd. Looking for 4-5 days week-including Saturdays
