About who needs care: A very young 101! Legally blind in one eye. Mom uses a walker around the house. We have a ramp and a wheelchair for Dr appts. Mom enjoys reading and talking to relatives, other activities if she has the energy. Mom is on blood pressure medicine and needs to take her blood pressure regularly. About the care needs: A good fit would be a sweet personality who likes to talk with mom and take her to Dr appts. She needs to be able to cook/reheat leftovers for lunch and maybe dinner. Stack dishes in dishwasher, 1 x week change sheets and sweep floor, take out garbage, clean kitchen counters or moms bathroom as needed. We do have a maid service coming in 1 x a month. We have 2 nice (older) dogs who want to love you as well. If you dont like dogs, you wont be a good fit! Mom speaks English and German. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
