Companion Care Needed For My Father In Henrico

About who needs care: We need someone to help my 85-year-old father a few hours a day. Care includes making sure he has a good meal, has taken his morning meds, help with laundry and sorting mail, and running errands. He has an 85 lb boxer mix named Ranger who is very sweet but large so the person needs to like dogs. About the care needs: We would like someone who is confident and caring who won't feel intimidated by my father. It would be helpful if they're familiar with caring for someone with dementia; although my father is still very much able to communicate, he repeats himself and has a terrible short term memory. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
