About who needs care: Severe mobility issues, reduced lung capacity due to smoking, severe digestive issues. Lives on a farm, can no longer care for it, but now enjoys gardening and watching birds. Needs assistance moving from place to place, dressing, bathing, and we are nervous about them cooking. About the care needs: Mom is very strong willed. She ran a pawnshop for 30+ years. She can be moody, curse, and her meds make her out of it much of the time. Someone who can roll with this type of personality would be necessary. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
