About who needs care: My grandma is 94, living in independent living. She can walk fine on her own but does get tired and have back pain. She likes knitting and crocheting. She loves going to the store. She gets up later in the day, maybe around 10 a.m. She has started having memory problems in the last several years and pretty heavily in the last year. She wears hearing aids that are very easy to lose. A lot of reminders about her schedule are important. Mainly, she just wants to get out of her apartment and do something or needs some basic reminding around her apartment. About the care needs: I think someone a little persistent at first. She has been very independent most of her life so if you initially ask her what she needs she might say she doesn't need anything. So maybe someone that takes charge a bit. She doesn't have a car so if someone could drive her to the store occasionally that would be nice. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
