About the job
Looking for a consistent caregiver for elderly parents who live with us in their own private apartment. Responsibilities include keeping the daily schedule, light meal prep, giving pre-portioned meds, encouraging daily movement, bathing/personal care for mom, light housekeeping, some laundry, and general companionship. Dad is independent and overall fairly healthy and active. Mom maintains some independence but does require assistance with bathing, medication, and movement motivation. Looking for someone who is honest, dependable, and consistent with a kind heart toward the elderly. Tolerating their teeny tiny dog is a must. Hoping to hire two caregivers for two separate shifts -- M-F 8-1 shift handles meals, movement, meds, most housekeeping and personal care ($18/hr). M-F 3:30-6:30 shift is mostly meals, movement and meds ($15/hr).
