Job description ## Overview We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care and assisting medical staff in various healthcare settings. ## Responsibilities - Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff - Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and feeding - Take and record vital signs accurately - Assist in the movement and transportation of patients - Keep patient rooms clean and organized - Follow proper infection control procedures - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members ## Skills - Experience in hospital medicine, hospice care, or critical care is preferred - Knowledge of anatomy and proficiency in taking vital signs - Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and children - Familiarity with caregiving practices and patient assistance techniques - Exposure to working in a Level II Trauma Center or home care environment is a plus
