About the job
About who needs care: She has Downs Syndrome and Dementia. We just need someone to watch her, assist her to the bathroom, fix her lunch and keep her company while we work during the day. She has a CCC+ waiver and that is where the pay comes from. They pay $13. 61 an hour. About the care needs: Just someone with compassion. Willing to help her clean herself when she goes to the bathroom. With her dementia it is getting harder for her to clean herself and she may need some assistance with eating. She can be quiet for periods of time and then be chatty at other times. She repeats herself a lot and is not good at remembering names. She watches tv a lot and takes naps throughout the day. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
