About the job
About who needs care: My Mom is 85 years old and lives independently in a townhouse. She is in need of some one to help her with going to the store, doing errands, organizing things in her home and companionship. She is very active but has decreased vision and is slowing becoming a bit forgetful. Her daughters live out of state and she likes living where she is. We are trying to help keep her in her home. About the care needs: Someone who is dependable, friendly, and can drive (my mom has a car but her vision is not great and she should not really be driving). No special skills needed. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
