Hi, we're looking for someone to be a care provider/companion for our 20-something-year-old daughter who is a paraplegic. She's independent, ambulatory, smart, and articulate. She does require meal prep, assistance toileting, and occasional transfer assistance. She suffers from mild, small-partial seizures, so will require supervision. The provider must be willing to provide support for any physical daily activities and provide assistance in social community activities as needed. She enjoys music, playing games, watching movies and tv, and an occasional luncheon or dinner outing. The candidate must be faith-based with a compassionate and caring heart. This position does require notable responsibility but leans more to a paid partnership and therefore suggests a companion within her age A non-smoker smoker is preferred.
