Caregiver For Physically Disabled University Of Student

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide essential support to an individual with muscular dystrophy who is a student at the of Virginia. The ideal candidate must be female, comfortable with moderate lifting, and a non-smoker. Responsibilities: - Transfer the individual in and out of a power wheelchair with the assistance of a Hoyer lift - Help with showering, dressing, and grooming routines - Aid in getting in and out of bed safely - Assist with repositioning in bed periodically throughout the night - Maintain cleanliness by performing light cleaning tasks - Assist with running errands - Assist with laundry tasks and organizing clothing - Support the individual in stretching routines
