Our family is looking for an attendant to care for our young adult son with special needs. He needs assistance with all his activities of daily living, including eating, bathing, and dressing. He spends his time in a wheelchair or hospital bed and requires assistance with positioning and transfers. Some lifting is required. Our son uses limited sign language to communicate. We are looking for a caregiver who enjoys helping adults with special needs. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained.
