I'm in my early 50s and currently dealing with a temporary thyroid illness that hasn't resolved as expected. Most days, I feel quite unwell, making everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping difficult. While I don’t generally need help with personal care or grooming, a lot will be food-related tasks, as my appetite is unusually large at the moment (long story). Help with dishes, errands, light cleaning, and some emotional support etc. would also be appreciated. I work full-time, am college-educated, and tend to be quiet and independent. I’m intelligent, caring, and have family nearby, but I mostly need someone who understands that I’ll want to be left alone to rest when I'm not feeling well. My partner will be away on a trip soon, so he won’t be available to help, which is why I’m looking for someone now.
