Companion Care Needed For My Father In Alexandria

About who needs care: We are looking for loving and compassionate companionship care for our beloved father. He is residing independetly with our mother, but needs help going for walks, remembering his meals, help dressing and accompaniment to medical appointments. He's kind and suffers from mild dementia. My mom needs a break and these daily three hours will allow her to rest and focus on herself as she's a cancer patient. Our father likes walks, music, sitting in coffee shops and talking about current events. About the care needs: Our ideal caregiver is kind, reliable, compassionate and honest and has a cheerful and optimistic outlook. Our father is a very kind man and needs companionship, a daily walk, help doing his daily excercises and reminders to drink fluids and eat his meals/snacks. Medical experience is not needed. Our father loves music, museums, walks, coffee shops and conversations. Reading him the newspaper would be great Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
