About who needs care: My Dad has Parkinson's. He is mobile with a cane, but can easily freeze when trying to walk forward. My Mom who is 80 years old is his full-time caretaker who is in much need of assistance. Possible scenarios would be to assist my Dad while my Mom takes care of other duties within the household; when my Mom has an appointment or to escape a few hours to do something for herself. My Dad loves sports!! Ways my Dad may need assistance is to get dressed in the morning, take his daily pills up to 4 times a day, prepare simple meals like breakfast or lunch. About the care needs: My Mom would like a CNA due to the need to administer his medication. Someone who is able to help my Dad who is 6' 2" and 220 lbs up from a seated position, if necessary. My Dad would like someone who is friendly and likes to visit. Sports knowledge would be a plus. Do you have male CNAs? Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
