Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Salt Lake City

About who needs care: The ask is specifically for my Mom with great back pain and (although undiagnosed, right now) dementia/easily confused. My Dad also in 80s lives in home, but physically very slow but better cognitively. Still drives, barely. But cannot keep up care of Mom and himself and the home. Mom defined herself with playing bridge but quit, can no longer complete a game. She just sleeps a lot, watches TV even though she does not know what she is watching. Dad fiddles on his computer (he was a computer programmer in the past), does very limited physical therapy to help with his back, but (reluctantly) walks with a cane. I have not talked to them about in home care but my sibling and I are starting to discuss and seeking options. About the care needs: Some meal prep, household chores (laundry is downstairs and Dad has slow mobility), and mostly to ensure they are both well and safe. If my Dad falls (which he has many times before) Mom may not cognitively recognize to call 911. If my Mom falls, Dad cannot do anything but call 911. However, has demonstrated he panics in a crisis. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
