About who needs care: Alzheimer's Disease. Bob has traveled the world and loves to talk about his travels. He plays bridge on the computer and tries to get enough exercise. Bob still plays some golf. Bob practiced law for many years. Ideal Day: He sleeps in until around 8:00. Has breakfast, walks or checks the computer, watches the news. Bob must take a nap at about 1:00. Likes to sit outside but not in the sun. About the care needs: Someone kind. He/she must be strong enough to help him get up from a chair--if he needs it. Bob's balance is not good and goes to Physical Therapy for some help. The caregiver probably needs to take his arm for balance. He is social and is pretty easy to engage. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
