About the job
Seeking home health caregiver near Provo for my mother in her late 70s. She has dementia and is bed-bound. Medication management is required. We would prefer someone who can handle housekeeping, bed changes, and laundry. Assistance with bathing and bedside/diaper changes is one of our requirements. She can feed herself but is very particular, so seeking someone to handle meal preparation. We need someone who is patient, gentle, down-to-earth, friendly, and talkative. My mother is an educated woman--a nurse and college professor--and does not like to be talked down to. Preferences for a caregiver who is CPR / first-aid trained, with more medical background a plus. MUST have experience with dementia patients.
