About who needs care: He has brain cancer, so he is losing cognitive function. Right now, we are able to take care of him during the day, but at night he gets up multiple times, doesnt know where he is, and sometimes gets combative. Because of the cancer, he has difficulty expressing what he needs. Hes very similar to an Alzheimers patient in that way. About the care needs: We need someone very patient, gentle, and kind who is a hard worker and can patiently guide him when he gets combative. We also need someone who can support/lift him because he is getting weaker every day. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
