Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Herriman

Help needed for my father in his 70s - seeking hands-on care. He needs help getting up and down ~7 steps to get to and from doctor appointments, He is able to walk with assistance (walker, cane) but can be very unsteady. Going upstairs is particularly difficult. On good days he can make it to the top but most days he loses strength near the last two steps. We need someone who would be comfortable providing assistance and, in worst case scenarios, help him if he falls. Schedule would need to be flexible to account for appointment times but would generally be known at least a week in advance. Would be willing to pay for both help both before and after appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets.
