Seeking an assistant for my dad in the Wimberley area. Responsibilities include transporting my father to and from dialysis and other appointments, ensuring he stays physically active through short walks and exercises, while offering companionship. Preferably, we'd like someone who can take Dad on short field trips: visits to the library or enjoyable golf cart "safari" rides in the neighborhood. Additionally, light housekeeping duties are needed. The role also involves assisting with weekly grocery shopping and running errands, contributing to my dad's overall well-being and quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate and patient demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to articulate and project clearly due to his hearing loss. Previous experience in caregiving required with references to be checked.
