Companion Care For Dementia Patient In Tyler Nursing Home

My name is Amanda, my father has late stage dementia. I try to go visit with him daily but I have young kids and a lot on my plate. I am hoping to hire someone for 2-3 days a week or more, depending on how much he likes it. For afternoon and evening hours. I tried using an agency and the caregivers that were sent watched tv on their phones the entire shift. He loves to talk with people and all we are hoping for is someone that is kind, attentive, and will respond/interact with him during their shift. If he needed a shave or shirt change or something like that, that would be okay. Most all care will be from the nursing home.
