About who needs care: My parents. Mother is in pretty good shape and self reliant. Dad has weak legs and is a fall risk and very hard of hearing. Mom is easy. Dad may argue a bit and pout but wont fight you. He will do what mom tells him to. They pretty much stay home other than appointments. Mom would love to be able to go to church again. About the care needs: Mom is Christian. Dad likes sports and horse racing. But both are laid back. Care giver will have Lots of downtime to do as they please, need to be there if dad falls or one of them has medical emergency, light housework, help mom with cooking if mom Will Allow it. Also open to doing a split day of 4 hours in morning and 4 in evening. But live in would be ideal for right candidate. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
