About who needs care: Dementia /Alzheimer's, I'm helping my Brother in law find a caregiver for my sister. She just needs someone to talk to and make sure she eats. She can make sandwiches but not much more. She doesn't cook anymore but I'm sure she would help if asked. She gets depressed when she is alone. About the care needs: Someone with a funny sense of humor. I talk with her and crack jokes about stuff and she laughs. They need to be patient and not forceful about things. Gardening is something my sister likes weather permitting. Someone to get her clothes out for her to wear different clothes each day. Keep an eye on her so she doesn't hide things. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
