Seeking either 1. a live in or 1. two individuals to rotate 10-12 hour shifts as home care near Sugar Land for my mother in her 70s for a temporary basis while she recovers from knee replacement surgery. Some light tidying up is involved. Assistance with bathing and changing is one of our requirements, responsibilities will include running errands, and possibly taking her to physical therapy appointments. We ask that you handle transportation as needed. A caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets (4 dogs) and CPR / first-aid trained. Mom does not speak English but a family will always be home as well to translate if needed. Experience with post knee replacement surgery care would be a plus!
