Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Spring

About who needs care: My sister Kayhas been in and out of hospital & rehab stays due to several stroke episodes starting back at the end of April. In addition to post-stroke issues she has a cirrhotic liver which causes ongoing issues and she is diabetic. Kay loves crafts, especially crocheting (which is currently difficult due to weakness of her left extremities). Kay would need help with personal care in the mornings and occasionally through the day. This will include some wound care for awhile at least, as she has a pressure sore on her bottom which needs caring for. Kay loves people and would thrive with companionship. She was an elementary school teacher for many years. Her husband works until 4, so he could take over her care after he gets home. About the care needs: Kay will need help with mobility and transfers from position to position. Due to the stroke, her left arm and leg are still quite weak, and currently cannot stand on her own. Again, she currently has a pressure sore on her bottom that will need wound care. Kay is humble and kind and greatly appreciates caregivers. Her nurses in the hospital always speak highly of her cooperative nature and the way she constantly speaks appreciation for their care. Kay is a Teddy Bear and is really caring. Someone with a similar personality who could also be an inspiring coach for her through the hard moments would be wonderful. Kay has always loved crafts and especially crocheting. She has always loved to read although she has not gotten to do much of that lately. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
