I need a companion care provider w/Alzheimer's / Dementia experience for my mother in her 80s. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Prefer non-smoker. Mom is very hard of hearing and most often uses a walking cane. Christian lady from a large family who historically has been very social. Moved from living independently to Assisted Living in Sept-24 and has grown more and more reclusive. She struggles w/chronic pain which we are currently working with her Dr. to address but feel if she were more active, physically as well as mentally, she could perhaps focus on something other than her pain. Other than that, she is in fairly good health. The facility where she lives has an outdoor garden/patio area so something as simple as getting her to walk out there to visit, vs. her room would be great.
