About who needs care: Dad is wheelchair bound, stands only to transfer, early Alzheimer's, and Mom is going through leukemia treatments that now makes her too tired and weak to do household cleaning. She hates doing the laundry Dad's incontinence creates. Hospice only comes an hour to get him out of bed M-F, showered three times a week, changes soil bed linens, and starts him eating his breakfast Mom sets out for him. Only joint "hobby" is attending Mass on Saturday nights, followed by dinner out with family. She still drives to her appointments. He's housebound now. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
