About the job
About who needs care: Recently diagnosed with dementia and has cushings syndrome. She can walk on her town and speak coherently but needs assistance with all other aspects of life: preparing food, cleaning, going to the bathroom, paying bills, remembering where she is, rides to doctor.. Currently her daughter is handling all this but this is not a sustainable situation. Her daughter is missing a lot of work and cannot afford to not be working regularly. About the care needs: Someone who is good at dealing with people with dementia. I would imagine they'd have to be very patient and compassionate..... and good at communicating with the daughter. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
