About who needs care: Alzheimer's, early onset. Recently becoming difficult to dress herself for make it to the bathroom. She is home during the day while my dad is working. She does better in the mornings and he comes home every day for lunch. It would be in the afternoon that we would like someone to be with her. Just light housework, maybe some meal prep. It would help my dad if someone could take her to appointments and provide her with companionship. About the care needs: Someone that has a warm personality, a female would be best. Knowledge of memory care and Alzheimer's would be preferred. She enjoys sitting by the pool, listening to music and watching her soap opera. It would be beneficial if some range of motion could be incorporated in the day. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
