About the job
I need someone who would enjoy coming to my grandmother's assisted living facility two days a week in the evening and read her short stories from Chicken Soup series, watering her plant, refilling the bird feeder, potential for occasional additional hours, like to pick out library books for her every few months. She also enjoys coloring in some senior-friendly coloring books that she has. This used to be my role as her granddaughter, but I am leaving town because of my job. I am hoping to find someone who is easy to relate to. Would likely interview on Zoom. My grandmother has a master's degree in counseling psychology, and worked part time until summer 2023, when it became apparent that she has moderate dementia. she has lived happily in her assisted living facility since September 2023. it's a happy and safe place.
