Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother Who Has ALS, In Round Rock

My mother who is in her 70s in Round Rock has ALS, but is still at a stage at which she can be transferred using a stand assist device. She's also able to eat, slowly. Her speech is slurred, but her mind is sharp, and she's able to communicate, sometimes with assistive devices. Seeking someone who has experience or is willing to be trained by her existing caregivers. Some light tidying up is involved. One of your responsibilities might be helping with bathing. Personal care required, including helping with meals, including preparation. She has van transportation to doctor's appointments, but you might have to sometimes go along. Ability and willingness to regularly communicate with her care managers -- her adult daughter and son -- is also a must. Mom is exceptionally sweet and intelligent and generous! Just a lovely woman.
