Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Rockport

About who needs care: My mother lives in her own home with my stepfather in Rockport, Texas. She has some mild dementia and is mobile, but is unsteady on her feet and physically fragile. She loses her balance and falls easily. She is not able to cook, or do her laundry, or do housekeeping anymore. My stepfather does everything around the house, takes care of her and their small dog, and drives her to her appointments. He needs help with this. She reads a lot, goes to physical therapy 3 times a week, and loves her dog. About the care needs: An ideal caregiver for my mother would be one who is cheerful but not particularly talkative. My mother is basically an introvert who would not want companionship per se, but does need someone to drive her to appointments and to , and the post office, etc. She needs someone to do light housekeeping such as laundry and doing the dishes. The ideal caretaker would also be a dog lover. They have a small dachshund/poodle mix dog who is about 4 or 5 years old. He is not rambunctious though. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
