About who needs care: Breast cancer stage v, continually received treatments once every 3 weeks. We take her to these appointments. Lives with her two daughters who need extra help during the day with her. Currently, she just sits and watches tv all day and sleeps. But she does express interest in being wheeled outside, practicing her physical therapy exercises and doing her puzzles. The goal would be to have someone who can help get her up and to the bathroom when needed, feed her during lunch, and entertain her for certain blocks of the day so she doesnt just sit. About the care needs: I think patience is a great skill to have an my mom does have loss of hearing in her right ear. She has hearing aids but that only helps so much. In addition, my mom is a very positive and outgoing lady when shes not in pain. So someone who also sees the glass half full would benefit her. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
